115 Joint Personnel and Locals Clean Up Krukut River from Waste

Some 115 joint personnel worked together with residents to clean the Kali Krukut River in RW 07 and 09, Kebon Kacang Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/14).
The cleaned area reaches 100 meters long
Kebon Kacang Urban Village Head, Muhammad Irfan Yusuf said personnel involved in the cleanup action were from PPSU, task force, Environment Sub-agency Water Agency, Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, RT administrators from two RWs, and representatives of community elements.
"The cleaned area reaches 100 meters long. We also involved five trucks to transport waste and other debris," he expressed.

For the next step, they along with the RT/RW administrators would conduct strict supervision in the river environment.
